About Underground Games

A big, fast library of free browser games — no downloads, no sign-up, no launcher. Open a game, it plays. Built for the two kinds of people who need it: someone stuck on a locked-down school laptop looking for five minutes of fun, and anyone who just wants one good page instead of ten sketchy game sites.

Where the games come from

Every game here is embedded from the GamePix publisher catalogue, which exists specifically so sites like this can host their games legally. We rank the catalogue by GamePix's own quality score and cut the filler, so what's left is the stuff actually worth playing. Games belong to their creators — we're just the front door.

We don't copy games from CrazyGames, Poki, or anywhere that hasn't licensed them for embedding.

Privacy

No account, no tracking pixels from us, no data collection. Your settings (accent colour, tab disguise, panic key) live only in your browser's local storage and never leave your device. Individual games may load their own ads or analytics — that's on them, and it's how the games stay free.

Playing at school

Open Settings (the gear in the bottom bar) for:

• Disguise this tab — makes the tab title and icon look like Google Docs, Classroom, Canvas, etc.
• Panic key — pick a key; pressing it anywhere jumps the tab straight to a URL you choose.
• Open in about:blank — reopens the site inside a blank tab so it stays out of your history, and sends the original tab somewhere boring.

Use good judgement. This is for downtime, not for dodging a teacher mid-class.
